Ndali Lodge is perched on beautiful wooded hills on a private 1,000-acre estate about seven miles from the Kibale Forest. The charming stone cottages are set within beautiful gardens and the lodge overlooks tranquil crater lakes. A peaceful setting to base yourself to explore the region of Kibale.
The main house is very comfortable with a spacious sitting room and dining room, and views of a 250-acre crater lake which lies 300 ft below. The guest cottages are well furnished, each with en-suite bathroom and a veranda with views of the snow-capped 'Mountains of the Moon'.
Head off with your guide on a drive to the Kibale Forest National Park where the largest concentration of chimps in Africa live. See them run, roll, swing, forage and play with each other completely undisturbed by your presence. You can also take a trip to the Bigodi Wetlands and enjoy a guided walk for a couple of hours through forests and grassland as you pass diverse flora and fauna along the way. If you want to completely unwind, simply stay at the lodge and indulge in the variety of spa treatments that are available.
