With the roar of the Nile flowing by and countless birds, animals, and primates living in Uganda’s largest national park, you will never be short of things to do.

Each of the intimate thatched safari suites enjoys a private deck overlooking the Nile. Huge wooden beds and handmade furniture make life at the lodge as comfortable as possible, and solar-heated showers and solar lighting ensures that Baker’s is almost wholly eco-neutral.
Each suite is a short walk to the central lounge, bar, and dining room, with raised wooden decks offering 180 degree views across the Nile.

The lodge has its own fleet of safari jeeps and boats which take you to nearby Murchison Falls, the Nile Delta, and to Lake Albert for its abundance of watersports.
Of course, a safari drive through the territory of elephant, buffalo, giraffe, lion, leopard, and hyena is a must during your stay at Baker’s Lodge. As the glow of the rising sun reflects on the Nile waters, where better to view this natural phenomenon than on level with the birds in a hot air balloon – from here, you can experience this, complete with a bush breakfast upon landing.
