These huge ancient hills have a rich history with many ruins, cave paintings and evidence of the areas turbulent past, and are so beautiful that the Zulu King Mzilikazi and Cecil Rhodes both asked to be buried there.
The camp itself has been tucked into a bushman shelter and has just six standard rooms and three suites, each of which offers guests every comfort while also managing to blend perfectly into the dramatic rocky surroundings.
The lodge affords panoramic views out across the park and when weather permits, pre-dinner drinks are enjoyed around the fire in the open air boma, while meals are enjoyed under a star filled sky. In addition to this the lodge has a cosy library, a wine cellar, large swimming pool and a small spa.

During the day the lodge’s excellent guides will take you out to experience all that the park has to offer and in addition to more traditional game drives guests can track rhino on foot, head up into the hills to discover the San rock art and enjoy a tour of a traditional Matabele Homestead.
