Location
The home of Delfin I is the Amazon and associated rivers that flow through the Pacara Samiria National Reserve. This is one of the best-preserved areas of forest in the Peruvian Amazon.
Accommodation
The Delfin I has just four cabins, making the boat exceptionally exclusive and personal. The accommodation is well-appointed and very spacious; each cabin has floor-to-ceiling windows for watching the forest go by and very ample-sized terraces.
Along with polished wood floors and elegant cream-white walls, the cabins have ensuite facilities and the all-important air conditioning. Two of them also have their own whirlpools.

The vessel’s top deck has an open terrace and a lounge with sofas. There’s also a reference library and a bar.

- As you quietly slip though the waters, you will spot all kinds of wildlife that it would be impossible to see from the forest floor. The birdlife is incredible, and you may even spot a sloth.
- Engage even more closely with the river by going out in one of the boat’s two aluminium launches. Kayaks and paddleboards are also an option. Keep your eyes peeled for the famous pink dolphins.
- A visit to an animal rehabilitation centre will give you the chance to meet the professionals who are most closely engaged with this unique ecosystem.
- You will have a completely different experience of the rainforest during a nocturnal safari when many animals hunt.
- Walking through the canopy on a suspended walkway will put you in the zone where the vast majority of the rainforest diversity resides.
