Romantic Dinner Kanga Camp Mana Pools
Kanga Camp is as remote as camps come in Mana Pools, set overlooking the only permanent waterhole in a 10km radius. This privileged location is home of the “Armchair Safari,” aptly named for the amount of wildlife that you can see while relaxing on your deck. Packs of wild dog and herds of buffalo frequent the waterhole, as do large elephant families.

At the centre of the camp is a dining lodge with superb views of the Kanga Pan. This is the place to relax in the afternoons and in the evening, enjoy delicious meals and lively conversation. It opens onto a raised observation deck that is the prime spot to watch animals passing through.

Each of the tented rooms at Kanga Camp is large with canopy beds, safari furniture, and an en suite bush shower, flush toilet, and wash basin. In front is a shaded veranda where you can relax between game drives.
Each of the six tents overlooks the pan - you can even see it from your shower, meaning you’ll never miss a single moment. You can also choose to sleep out under the stars, getting a grand view of the cosmos above.

Kanga Camp is ideally located for some fascinating guided safari walks, enabling you to track animals and gain an understanding of the complex interactions of the flora and fauna. You will also enjoy drives by open vehicle, moving across the grassland down to the river and back up towards the towering escarpment.
