Accommodation
There are 10 tents in the camp, including a large 4-sleeper family tent and a romantic honeymoon suite. Each tent has been thoughtfully located to provide privacy amid the vegetation, as well as having great views out across the park.

The decor is warm and authentic, with headboards hand carved from African mahogany. Each tent has an en suite bathroom, outdoor shower, and a private veranda, on which you can watch wildlife with a glass of wine in hand.
The main lounge is a welcome retreat fit with plush comfortable sofas to relax on. And the recent addition of a beautiful swimming pool provides a refreshing afternoon sanctuary after a morning full of exploring the wild.

Oliver’s Camp specialises in delicious home-cooked meals, which you’ll eat together in the communal dining area, and you will be able to partake in the weekly traditional barbecue. The roaring campfire is the perfect place to come together with other guests and swap safari stories.

Asilia have dedicated themselves to “responsible tourism” in all of their camps throughout Africa. Their CO2 offset project has protected 17.4 hectares of dryland forest, greatly thankful to the fact that 90% of electricity in their camps is from renewable sources.

Community
In response to the human-wildlife conflicts that exist all throughout eastern Africa, Asilia has launched the Twende Porini programme which involves inviting children from local communities and villages to stay in Asilia camps for a few days and take part in wildlife education and game drives. In this way perceptions and, ultimately, attitudes change, leading to future conservationists. Each guest’s stay at any Asilia camp contributes US$5 per night towards Asilia’s philanthropic projects throughout Tanzania and Kenya.
