Location
Sailing around these remote and inspiringly dramatic islands, Silver Galapagos departs from Baltra and San Cristobal on scheduled seven day departures.
Accommodation
At almost 90m in length, Silver Galapagos is a ship that provides plenty of space for its 100 guests and it is easy to find a quiet corner on one of its 5 decks when you need it. All guests are accommodated in outward-facing, stylish and sophisticated suites, many with verandas or terraces. For the ultimate in opulence, choose the huge Explorer Suite, which has a queen size or two twin beds, and a marble bathroom. There’s a walk in closet and writing table, too.
The public areas on the ship will keep you entertained for days. You can take a dip in the jacuzzi on the sundeck, work out in the gym, or go snorkelling from the designated snorkel area. There’s a beauty salon and massage room, a charming library with an excellent selection of photographic books, maps, and newspapers, plus a lounge and an art-deco style piano bar for pre-dinner cocktails.

The two dining options offer open-seating, which means that you can eat whenever you wish and with whomever you want; be hearty or solitary depending on your mood. At the Grill, which is a rotisserie and salad bar during the day, your evening meal will involve hot volcanic stones at your table so that you can cook to your own specifications.
A more formal option is the Silver Restaurant featuring the finest of dishes and attentive service. Indeed, with 75 crewmembers aboard, personalised attention is not just a feature of the restaurants; every suite comes with its own butler, and there are enough guides and naturalists to educate every guest thoroughly about the wonders of the islands.

Experiences
- Go snorkelling from the ship’s dedicated snorkelling deck, complete with all the necessary equipment.
- Go ashore on a Zodiac with one of the ship’s naturalists to retrace the steps of Charles Darwin. They’ll even take you into a lava tunnel. Encounter tortoises, marine iguanas, the famous finches, penguins and blue-footed boobies.
- Paddle a sea kayak to get up-close and personal with the marine life such as inquisitive seals.
- Over an evening cocktail in the lounge, hear a naturalist talk to guests about their own area of expertise.
- Join an evening star-gazing group on the deck. An expert crew member will give you a tour of the Pacific skies.
