The third intimate Six Senses lodge is in Bhutan’s lush green Gangtey Valley. Here, the focus is on this spectacular landscape, bringing the outside in. They have created spaces where natural light flows willingly, and wooden features connect you to your surroundings.
Weathered timber floors line the lodge and leather details are incorporated into the lounge spaces and bedrooms. There is a feeling of warm zen and comfort to the interior, and the protection of the surrounding valley creates the most peaceful atmosphere.
In the guest rooms every detail has been carefully considered to ensure serenity, from the choice of linens to the calming colour scheme.
A unique opportunity at the Gangtey chalet is its bird-watching bridge. The wildlife in this part of the country is exotic and varied, and you will have the opportunity to see this range of species for yourself.

The bridge is a few minutes’ walk from the lodge itself, within the hotel grounds. It is built entirely of stone and is closed off from the elements by vast timber-framed windows.
