As you hike through the beautiful landscapes of Bhutan, one of the most luxurious places to recharge is the Six Senses Punakha. This resort has a typical farmhouse feel to it, in keeping with the rural traditions of this fertile part of the country.
Six Senses Punakha is known locally as “the flying farmhouse amidst the rice fields” and this evocative name says it all. There are mud brick features in the bathrooms, mason jar light fittings, and woven bamboo feature walls.
The rooms are still spacious and light and offer stunning views of Punakha, Bhutan’s former capital city.
