Location
Also known as the Belmond Andean Explorer, this is without doubt one of the most beautiful train rides in the world. Travelling between Cuzco and Puno on Lake Titicaca, and onwards to Arequipa, the route passes through the breathtaking scenery of the mountains and high plains.
Accommodation
As one of a maximum of 48 passengers, you depart from Puno on Lake Titicaca, and will be shown by the liveried attendant to your luxury cabin.
Settle in quickly, because you’ll soon be served lunch: a fine dining experience which showcases refined Andean cuisine. You’ll have an afternoon excursion at La Raya, reboarding the train in time for tea.

As the journey continues, be sure to visit the observation car to take in the rugged and untamed natural environment floating past the windows. Pop in to the onboard spa for an hour or two, but finish your treatment in time for cocktail hour and a sumptuous dinner in the dining car.
Cabins on the train vary from bunks to deluxe double beds. All of them have ensuite facilities and are decorated in a charming Peruvian style, complete with local handicrafts. You’ll finally pull into Cusco just after breakfast.
