Location
A tiny, landlocked republic in Equatorial Africa, Rwanda lies on the eastern rim of the Albertine Rift and the watershed between Africa’s two largest river systems: the Nile and the Congo. Often called the "land of a thousand hills", Rwanda is a mountainous country with a moist, temperate year-round climate. This is a sultry land of lakes, rain forests and rolling hills, offering a number of magnificent lakeside resort towns.

The luxury boutique hotel’s twenty rooms feature locally-crafted and sustainable wood furniture, outdoor showers, solar electricity, private patios and local accents, built around a central heated swimming pool, complete with jacuzzi.

Wherever possible, Heaven source their organic ingredients from the hotel’s very own onsite garden and ingredients they are unable to grow themselves are sourced responsibly, from local suppliers and farmers.

Since the hotel’s establishment in 2008, Heaven has trained over 1,000 Rwandans. At the heart of their approach is an authentic and tailored Rwandan experience. Everything offered is custom-built by local craftspeople and showcases Rwandan arts, photography, experiences, and agriculture.
