Location
Tierra Chiloé is located on the Isla Grande de Chiloé, an island of green hills, rocky coastlines, picturesque fishing villages, immense ecological diversity, lakes and rivers off the coast of Chile's Northern Patagonia.

The design of the lodge of Tierra Chiloé was inspired by the ‘palafitos’ (stilted houses) found in the local area.
With just 24 rooms, Tierra Chiloé feels intimate and personal; and all the more so because the décor combines Chiloé craftsmanship and modern innovation.
Wooden walls and doors, along with hand-crafted furniture and locally-sourced woven fabrics create a calming setting from which you can gaze through picture windows onto the beauty of Patagonia.

Tierra Chiloe aims to maintain biodiversity in their 20+ hectares of land. Eight of these hectares have been planted with different types of produce including herbs, fruit and vegetables; many of which are native to the region such as hazelnut, nalca and rosehip.
Community
Tierra Chiloe shares a strong link with the local community, many of whom work with the property – from the slippers provided for each guest, hand-knitted by the hotel’s neighbours, to working with local farmers who supplement the organic harvest from the orchards and vegetable gardens.
