Kota Kinabalu

Adrenaline-infused jungle adventures meet serene, sparkling beaches

The heart of Kota Kinabalu's culture is Gaya Street, a vibrant Chinatown market, which is especially enchanting when you drift amongst the scarlet lanterns of the Chinese New Year night market. Whilst you wander along the architecturally diverse streets, you’ll be awed by the craftsmanship of the City Mosque which appears to float in the sunset waters of its reflecting pool.

Kota Kinabalu is the gateway to the Sabah state, thrill seekers will lust over the opportunities to trek into the jungle with activities such as climbing Mount Kinabalu - Malaysia’s highest peak - or wrangling white water rapids in a raft. After you’ve experienced the exhilaration of the jungle, we will arrange to take you via boat to a nearby island getaway.

Should you choose to finish your trip to Borneo in Kota Kinabalu, you can reflect on your adventures on the sugar white beaches. Experience your own Jacques Cousteau moment as you snorkel through thriving coral reef dreamscapes or witness firsthand the conservation efforts of iconic green turtles and gentle dugongs at the Marine Research Foundation.
