50 years of Victory

The North Pole, Arctic

Few people have the opportunity to cruise through Arctic waters and even fewer have the privilege of visiting the North Pole. For this bucket list trip, you’ll board the 50 Years of Victory, the world’s most powerful nuclear icebreaker.

On this once in a lifetime expedition you will set sail from the Russian city of Murmansk. Over 14 days - during which time the sun scarcely sets - you’ll voyage through the 191 islands in the world’s most northerly archipelago all of the way to the North Pole. Father Christmas won’t be there to greet you, but no matter: the helicopter views of the ice, the polar bear sightings, and the possibility of a flight over the pole by hot air balloon are far more thrilling.

The ship accommodates 128 guests onboard, all in comfortable cabins with outside views. Kids will love the swimming pool on board while parents might enjoy a drink or two at the all inclusive bar. The eerie crackling of the sea ice while you stand together on the bow spotting walrus and whale is a memory you’ll never forget.
