Baines' Camp

Okavango Delta, Botswana

Baines’ Camp was built with the help of the local community in Maun and is constructed on elevated platforms above the Boro River. Take in the beautiful views, enjoy a bath under the stars, or escape the heat with a dip in the pool.

Beds in each suite can be rolled outside for a night underneath the stars on your private deck. If that wasn't enough, you can take your bath outside as well! The suites have strong eco credentials — the frames are made from recycled cans, and the whole camp has a low environmental footprint.

Whether you’re looking for an English Breakfast, delicious cocktails, or a three-course-meal, your dining requirements will be perfectly attended to.

Staying at Baines’ Camp, you will have the opportunity to go for a walk, or even have a picnic, with elephants as part of a collaboration with a local charity, the Living With Elephants Foundation. You can take a seasonal mokoro canoe excursion, and in the early evening head out on a night drive to spot Botswana’s nocturnal wildlife.
