Baraza

Zanzibar, Tanzania

This all-inclusive boutique hotel is reminiscent of an Arabian palace. It features handmade furniture, arches, brass lanterns, and immaculate design. There are 30 private one or two-bedroom villas to choose from, each with freestanding bathtubs, spacious terraces, and plunge pools.

Dining at the Baraza Resort is a wonderful experience. Menus are carefully designed to incorporate the range of local spices and flavours which Zanzibar is famous for. The resort features an open-air terrace restaurant, a relaxed, oceanside venue, serving lunches and afternoon tea and the elegant Sultans’ Dining Room, offering stunning views of the surrounding islands, paired with sumptuous dishes. Finish your evening with a cocktail at the Dhahabu Bar and Lounge.

The Frangipani Spa is full of wonderful facilities and a range of pampering options. There is a large pool, featuring underwater music, a tennis court, fitness centre, and a mosaiced relaxation room, where you can enjoy the resort’s signature treatment for two - the Sultan’s Bath.
