Casa Real

Winelands, Chile

For wine lovers and connoisseurs, Casa Real’s location is ideal. A backdrop of beautiful gardens and parkland allow for a relaxing and undisturbed stay, and the surrounding vineyard offers guests the chance to sample some of Chile’s most revered wines. Take one of several guided tours around the winery, one of which includes a winemaking experience.

You’ll stay in one of 11 rooms and 5 luxurious suites. The hotel’s interior is lavish and elegant, in keeping with the 19th-century tradition of the house, but has been recently refurbished to provide every comfort for its guests; it’s a perfect mélange of old and new.

Casa Real’s reception rooms are exquisite, particularly the Bishop Room and Games Room. They are all furnished in a style which the 19th-century landowner, resident of this house, would have been satisfied with. Gilded mirrors, plush red curtains, and crystal chandeliers adorn each room. A highlight is the neo-gothic chapel attached to the hotel; its interior is colourful and bright, and perfectly complements the ostentatious style of the main house.
