Chiawa Camp

Lower Zambezi, Zambia

Whether you’re looking for a relaxing retreat, or an action-packed safari experience, Chiawa Camp has it all. Set in an idyllic location along the banks of the Zambezi River, guests can lie back and enjoy the spectacular river views from their veranda, or head to the pool, complete with a timber sun deck and views of the Zambezi, for a relaxing dip.

Safari enthusiasts can head out on a game-viewing drive, by day or by night, to catch a glimpse of the local wildlife. Chiawa Camp also has two game-viewing hides from which to view and photograph the abundant elephant and hippo. Round off a day of safari and relaxation with a delicious seasonal meal cooked on the banks of the Zambezi by a team of world-class chefs.

With guides trained first as naturalists, bush walks, game drives and canoeing are particularly fascinating. You’ll learn about the various birds and ecology of the park as you discover the miniscule details that you might otherwise miss.
