Duba Plains

Okavango Delta, Botswana

Newly rebuilt and refurbished, Duba Plains is arguably the most luxurious and exclusive camp in Botswana’s Okavango Delta. It’s game viewing opportunities are equally impressive.

Duba Plains was completely rebuilt and refurbished in 2017 and is arguably the most luxurious and exclusive camp in Botswana’s Okavango Delta. Its game viewing opportunities are equally impressive, and thus it’s a real hub for wildlife photographers and documentary makers.

Small and intimate, with just five enormous tented suites and the larger two bedroomed Duba Plains Suite, Duba Plains is perfect for small groups or families. It offers guests the highest standards of hosting, service, cuisine, and guiding in the Okavango, whilst at the same time promoting a relaxed style and informal atmosphere. The huge tented suites each have en suite bathrooms with freestanding baths, extra wide beds, stylish furniture, and a full length veranda with plunge pool overlooking the floodplain.

Game viewing at Duba Plains focuses mainly on action packed game drives in the morning and afternoon/early evening, however it is also possible to enjoy seasonal boating when water levels permit. Guests may take night drives, which often provide opportunities to see Africa's elusive nocturnal animals in action. The vehicles in Duba are allowed off-road for the ultimate in game viewing.
