Fasano Rio de Janeiro

Rio, Brazil

It would be hard to beat the location of Fasano Rio de Janeiro. First of all, it is right on the waterfront overlooking Ipanema Beach. But just as impressive as this are the views of the Dois Irmãos Mountains and the Corcovado. Ascend to the rooftop pool for a swim or to admire the panorama.

The rooms and suites at Fasano Rio de Janeiro overlook either the ocean or the hotel’s attractive courtyard. They’re elegantly designed with hardwood floors, king size beds, and marble bathrooms. Starck created the Dali-esque mirrors, the chairs are by Sergio Rodrigues, and you’ll get a stylish pair of flip flops by Oskar Metsavaht. Morning coffee on your private balcony takes some beating.

There are three places to eat and drink within the hotel, ranging from sophisticated Fasano al Mare to the laid-back Rooftop Pool Bar. Wallpaper magazine called Baretto-Londra their favourite hotel bar in the world, so you’d be mad not to try at least one of the expertly crafted cocktails.
