ITC Maratha

Western India

The ITC Maratha is a perfect stop off for travellers in need of five star luxuries without venturing too far from the airport. If you are planning to head straight into the heart of Mumbai, then it’s still within easy enough reach.

There’s a range of modern, stylish rooms, including executive club rooms that have views of the pool or the garden. Executive suites have a personal butler and access to the executive lounge. The grounds and Royal Garden are vast, perfectly manicured and dotted with towering palm trees.

Dining options at the ITC Maratha are superb, so you don’t have to go outside to eat.

The 24-hour Peshwa Pavilion, which serves international and Indian food, is a good option if your flight arrives at an unsociable hour, but there are more interesting dishes in the Peshawari Specialty Restaurant and Dakshin Coastal. Cool down at the end of the day with a cocktail and nibbles while admiring the glitzy decor at Bombay High, where you can sit back and enjoy live music and a cigar.
