Little Mombo is a recently-rebuilt camp in the Moremi Game Reserve. There are just three spacious tents, each of which features stylish, luxurious decor, four poster beds, outdoor showers, and private salas. The camp is nestled under the shade of jackalberry and sausage trees, and boasts unparalleled views of a floodplain on Chief’s Island.
Guests at Little Mombo are likely to see a wide variety of local wildlife, and can head out on a safari drive with a local expert. Keep an eye out even when you are in camp, though, you might just see animals crossing the floodplain.
Little Mombo is also linked to a local nature conservation project, the Botswana Rhino Reintroduction Project. The researchers here are passionate about their work and eager to share their vital work saving endangered black and white rhino.
If you’re in need of a refreshing dip, between excursions, cool off in the swimming pool. There’s always a good selection of cold drinks on hand, and after the nightly sundowner you can head to the dining area for a delicious, freshly prepared meal.
