The Morukuru family is comprised of three properties: Owner’s House, River House, and Farm House, each of which is designed for exclusive use and comes with its own staff. The settings are carefully chosen, the interiors carefully crafted to balance style and comfort.
Owner’s Lodge sits on the bank of the Marico River, beneath the shade of an ancient morukuru tree. It was built by Morukuru’s owners as their own private retreat, but they’re happy to share it with a privileged few. Staying here as guests you’ll have king size bedrooms, open fireplaces, a library, and an infinity pool. Your attentive private butler and chef will be always on hand.
It goes without saying that you can do game drives, bush walks, and bird watching at Morokuru. But that’s not all! A sleepover in the hide by the watering hole can be an exciting night for kids, or a romantic night for couples: it’s up to you. The lodge also arranges classes in African drumming, dance performances, and various adrenalin-fuelled watersports.
