Oberoi Amarvilas

Golden Triangle, India

Shah Jahan commissioned the Taj Mahal, but once it was complete could only look at it from a distance. Your view from the Oberoi Amarvilas will not be too dissimilar; it’s just 600m away. Travel to the Taj in a private golf buggy early in the morning, and explore the site before the crowds arrive.

The Oberoi Amarvilas boasts blush facades facing a lush landscaped garden with a swimming pool and sprawling views across Agra. Guests staying in premier rooms will find king size beds made from dark teak, and bathrooms that have Mughal inspired design elements. The balconies have stunning views across the grounds.

The Kohinoor Suite contains extravagant decor including marble columns, golden domed ceilings, and a standalone bathtub with views of the Taj Mahal. Guests who opt for the Deluxe Hotel Suite with a balcony will find themselves captivated by the sight of the Taj Mahal from their living room, as well as by the views of the landscaped gardens. As the sun is setting, head to Esphahan, the specialty restaurant which offers candlelit dinners and live music.
