Royal Malewane

Greater Kruger, South Africa

The Royal Malewane is royal by name, and certainly fit for royal guests. A haven of old-world charm and stylish splendour, it exudes the romance and beauty of a bygone age while offering every comfort and convenience to discerning modern guests.

The lodge is within the Thornybush Private Game Reserve in the western part of The Greater Kruger National Park. The guiding team here is the most qualified and experienced in Africa, so you’re guaranteed both exceptional sightings and a fascinating, immersive learning experience.

Staying at Royal Malewane, you can check into one of the eight luxurious suites, but for a large family or group of friends, we recommend taking over Africa House, a stunning bush villa which sleeps 12. The guest rooms are palatial, replete with four poster beds. Silk Persian carpets lie upon polished wooden floors, and attractive lanterns hang from the high ceilings. Royal Malewane spa is regarded as one of the best in Africa, and the heated lap pool is a fabulous place to unwind.
