Sea Five Boutique Hotel

Cape Town, South Africa

Sea Five Boutique Hotel is a beach house with a difference. It boasts stunning ocean views, but these are easily matched by the mountain and city panoramas from other windows. Top South African interior designer Francois Du Plessis has blended decorative influences from the Mediterranean with a distinctive South African colour scheme to create a uniquely attractive new look combining natural materials and refined luxury. A garden of olive trees, lemon, lavender, and rosemary bushes surrounds the property.

The hotel’s garden rooms are on the ground floor and open out onto private terraces. The three suites are on the upper storeys, and they have the very best views. All the rooms are air conditioned and have heating; the en suite bathrooms are a brilliant white and have walk-in showers. We can think of no better place to spend a morning than lounging on the deck of the Ocean Suite, sipping on coffee and looking out at the pool, the city, and the ocean beyond.
