Vina Vik is a 22-suite avant-garde retreat and spa, perched on a hilltop above a lake, and with views towards the towering Andes Mountains. The artistic style of the building is the work of a fantastic local architect, who won a competition to design the hotel. Each suite has been individually styled by a local artist and has floor-to-ceiling windows; natural light floods the rooms. The entrance hall and common areas are light and open, and the staff are friendly and helpful.
A vast swimming pool teeters over the hillside; you will feel as though you are swimming above the vineyard. Unwind at the so-called “Wine Spa”, where treatments are inspired by the landscape and the Vik grapes are incorporated into the massages, facials, and body scrubs available. At the restaurant, savour Chilean-inspired dishes and exquisite Vik wine. The views from the restaurant, overlooking the valley and mountains, are second-to-none.
