Adventures in Iceland

Thrilling outdoor excursions on this Arctic island

When you visit Iceland, you’re won’t be lacking in choice of activities. This volcanic polar island is an adventurer’s playground – with so many things to choose from, this is a destination that will please everyone in the family. In the land of fire and ice, you can enjoy horseback riding, dogsledding, snowmobiling and quad biking by day before going out at night to enjoy unparalleled stargazing. You may even see the northern lights if you choose to visit in the winter!

Iceland’s many rivers and lakes offer water lovers the chance to fish for salmon and brown trout, snorkel and dive in the continental divide, white water raft, and kayak.

Of course, better known are the many geothermal hot springs, where you can relax after a day in the wilderness – our favourite is the Secret Lagoon, a natural hot spring in the country where you can still see the original bath house standing. You may also choose to take a guided glacier trek, where you can explore the shimmering turquoise ice tunnels. We can also arrange a helicopter ride over the famous volcanoes and glaciers, where you will appreciate the diverse landscape from a bird’s eye view. On the sea, you can take boat safaris in search of whale and even puffin clinging to the coastal cliffs in summer.
