Get Involved in Conservation

Protecting Kenya’s Wild Places

Sir David Attenborough once said, “…the natural world is important and valuable and beautiful and wonderful and an amazement and a pleasure,” and we agree with these sentiments entirely.

Journeysmiths works wherever possible with lodges and camps which take a proactive approach to conservation, including community engagement, and just by visiting these spectacular locations you are contributing to conservation efforts. Should you wish to learn more, our long standing relationships create opportunities to get behind the scenes and engage with those at the forefront of modern conservation. The likes of Ol Donyo Lodge have their own foundations - in Ol Donyo’s case working with NGO Rhinos Without Borders and Conservation Education.

Elsa’s Kopje works with the Land & Life Foundation, focusing on education. You can help inspire the conservationists of tomorrow by helping out with the Wildlife Warrior Program in local primary schools, and by contributing books, stationery, shoes, and other essential items to the school children.
