The infrastructure at Manuel Antonio has been carefully designed to mimic natural surroundings, with environmental protection at its forefront. This region is rich in biodiversity and is an exciting park for tracking different species of monkey, as well as sloth, iguana, and white-nosed coati. You’ll find incredible bird life here, too, with more than 350 species including toucan, tanager, parakeet, woodpecker and motmot.
Manuel Antonio features four gorgeous beaches where the landscape is markedly different from the forests teeming with birds and monkeys. From the shore, you might spot pods of dolphins or migrating whales, while the large tidepools at Manuel Antonio and Espadilla Sur beaches offer excellent snorkelling.
