Location
The lodge has been carefully built to blend in with its surroundings. It’s set high up on a granite outcrop, giving you fantastic views of the unusual Damaraland landscape. To the south, you can see Namibia’s tallest mountain, the Brandberg, to the west you’ll have views of Doros Crater.
Accommodation
You’ll be sleeping in one of three king size suites, each with individual climate control ensuring a comfortable night’s sleep. Floor-to-ceiling frameless glass doors maximise the views of the Mars-like landscape and offer unspoilt vistas wherever you are in the suite.
Be sure to pull back the doors completely and enjoy the unbeatable feeling of the fresh air on your face. You’ll have a spacious en-suite bathroom that has both indoor and outdoor double showers. Outside, there’s a private sun deck, perfect for early morning yoga, with an individual wood-fired hot tub too.
Floating wooden decks lead you to the shared areas of the lodge. There’s a lounge, dining room and kitchen area, and, just like the suites, each of the shared areas has an open front, blurring the lines between outdoors and indoors. Decor is tasteful and combines neutral colours with an abundance of woods and natural materials throughout.
Your meals are cooked for you by a private chef and there’s also a butler on hand to help with anything you might need during your stay.

Experiences
- Your bed can be moved out onto your private deck for an evening under the inky black night sky. Admire the superb views of the stars, unspoiled by light pollution, and enjoy a fantastic night’s sleep outside.
- If you’re looking for something adventurous, hop on a solar ebike and explore the area on two wheels.
- Accompanied by your private guide, discover some of Namibia’s most spectacular scenery and seek out the area’s wildlife on natural walks and drives. Plains game and various predators can be found in the area.
- Twyfelfontein, a UNESCO World Heritage Site of rock art that’s estimated to be 6,000 years old, is just twenty minutes away by car and certainly worth a visit if you are interested in history.
- Only two populations of desert-adapted elephant remain, one of them is here in Damaraland. Track members of the herd with your guide and, if you’ve opted for an extended stay at Onduli, you can also track rare black rhino.
