Location
Located on the north-west coast of Zanzibar, and lying adjacent to the clear turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean, sits the extraordinary and mesmerising resort of Kilindi.
Accommodation
Set on the idyllic island of Zanzibar, Kilindi consists of 15 white-domed pavilion suites. Each one is extremely luxurious, featuring white wooden shutters, vast arched windows, a private plunge pool, and a rainforest shower. You will even have your own personal butler. Sleep soundly, lulled by the lapping of the waves, then wake up to the most stunning views over the Indian Ocean.
The main pavilion overlooks an extravagant infinity pool. There is an al fresco dining terrace and a private white sand beach for you to enjoy. Enjoy your meals in the company of other guests, or opt for a private lunch or dinner in your own pavilion suite.

- The Kilindi Spa is tucked away in a corner of the tropical gardens. Indulge in a range of relaxing treatments, including facials, massages, and body scrubs.
- Here a range of water-based activities are available to fill your days with. Try scuba diving, snorkelling, jet skiing, and deep-sea fishing.
- There are a few stand-up paddleboards and kayaks for guests to use.
- Alternatively, join one of the hotel’s private tours of the nearby towns and villages.
- Staff can also arrange a guided tour around Stone Town or one of the spice plantations.

Conservation
Elewana, Kilindi’s parent company embraces the responsibility of helping to protect both the habitat in which wildlife lives as well as specific vulnerable and endangered wildlife species. They have been pioneers in supporting what they call “Parks Beyond Parks” - conservation areas that lie outside of nationally protected parks. In total they play a key role in protecting land extending to over 1.36 million acres.
Community
For every bed night spent at Kilindi, Elewana will donate $1 per guest towards their “Land & Life Foundation”. A foundation which works closely with schools and clinics to tackle issues of education and health by helping to identify their development priorities and raise funds from travelling philanthropists to finance their requests, whether for supplies, infrastructure or training.
Environment
Kilindi's 'open-to-nature' approach provides the true essence to any stay and crafts a private, intimate and 'barefoot' appeal that so many crave. The property is ‘Responsible Tourism Tanzania’ certified, meaning it has introduced a framework for responsible management and policy development, as well as preparation to plan and monitor their overall impact.
